The Local Brokerage ("we," "us") runs this website. This policy explains what we collect when you use it, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you fill out a form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the market you chose, what you want to do, and your message.
- How the site is used. We collect basic usage information, such as pages viewed, links and buttons clicked, the type of device and browser, and the site that referred you. We use cookies and similar tools for this.
How we use it
- To answer your request and connect you with an agent.
- To keep a record of your inquiry in our client management system.
- To contact you by phone, text, or email about your request, when you have agreed to that.
- To understand how the site is used and make it better.
- To meet our legal and licensing obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- The agent or agents at The Local Brokerage who handle your request.
- Companies that run services for us, such as our client management system, email delivery, website hosting, and analytics. They may use your information only to provide those services.
- Others when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or text message consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Text messages
If you agree to receive texts, we will text you about your real estate request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying or selling.
Home search
Home search and home value tools open on our search website, livelocalgreatlakes.com. That site has its own privacy policy, which applies to what you do there.
Your choices
- You can ask us what information we have about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can unsubscribe from our emails with the link in any email, and end texts by replying STOP.
- You can block cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet the record-keeping rules that apply to Ohio real estate brokerages.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
